Almost all of my working life has entailed working in the medical field for almost 30 years as the practice manager for Dr Richard Keyes and Dr Michael Hickey. During that time Dr Keyes became involved in the cosmetic medicine field. We established a small base in the surgery for treatment of acne using a combination of topical creams, antibiotics & microdermabrasion. That success led to extending microdermabrasion treatment to other patients. Richard continued with developing his cosmetic practice while continuing his general practice. We were able to see that there was a need to establish a Cosmetic Center based on the observation of the improvement of peoples health with the improvement of their skin health and perception of themselves. This led to the establishment of Skinworx.

Being an Aesthetician has always been my dream job. It's what I have always wanted to do since I was 15. At 21 years of age, I travelled from Woodstock to Sydney to study Beauty Therapy. I was fortunate to train at Madame Korner's Salon, at the Hilton Hotel under the guidance of European trained Aestheticians. Madame Korner was very famous in the industry and we did treat many celebrities. I remained there for over 15 years before returning home. I have loved being a part of the evolvement of the industry. Keeping abreast of new technologies has allowed me to challenge myself and enabled me to maximise client outcomes. I am one of the foundation members of Skinworx since 2004. I can honestly say I love coming to work every day being a therapist and friend to so many clients.

I have been a Beauty Therapist for 13 years. Within this time I have worked in many different areas within the beauty industry including salons, day spa's and cosmetic clinics. I have worked in the UK for 2 years travelling and training in award winning beauty resorts across England. I love my work and being able to pamper my clients so they walk out feeling amazing. Working at Skinworx gives me the opportunity to assist clients with treating their skin concerns, and giving them a pampering experience at the same time. At present I am currently completing an Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science. I believe it's important to keep my skills up to date to give clients the very best knowledge and advice.

My passion for everything Beauty & Wellness started 20 years ago. I’ve worked in various salons and wellness centers performing remedial massage, beauty therapies and IPL hair reduction services.

Recently I completed an Advanced Certificate in Cosmetic Laser and Light Therapies. This has gained me a QLD Radiation License to provide laser and IPL hair removal, skin rejuvenation, vascular & pigmentation treatments as well as laser tattoo removal.

I am thrilled to join the Skinworx team in providing exceptional skin care, cosmetic and wellness services.  And I look forward to assisting my clients in reaching their desired skin health goals, sharing in their boosted personal confidence and happiness.

I have been an aesthetician in Townsville for the past 9 years mostly focusing on spa therapies as well as clinic management. I have always had such a passion for facial treatments and skin care that it felt only natural to further my studies by completing my graduate diploma in dermal therapies and my graduate certificate in IPL and laser hair reduction. I am thrilled to be part of such a professional and experienced team and look forward to providing a wonderful experience and treatment outcome for all my clients.
